Pros and cons of iCall - Small Business VoIP app for iPhone and iPad
iCall - Small Business VoIP app good for
I dont have this app and really want to get it! My parents wont get me a phone but agreed (sorta) to let me get iCall. But I need to know if the app is worth the signing up and time and everything. So if someone could PLEASE tell me if I should get this app.
Thanks,
The ? Girl
I was able to use iCall to manage several phone numbers for my employees. Seems to work really well.
Its nice to have more than one phone number. I like the voicemail transcriptions too.
This is the best talk and best texting app to turn your iPod to a iphone
The best business phone app allows you to pick a business phone number in any US area code. High quality calls for national and international calls!
I use iCall for my independent business so I don’t have to give out my personal mobile number to clients. I choose iCall because it does not hijack my personal phone service or voicemail like google voice does.
Some bad moments
This app is junk. Charged me a usage fee then said my account has expired. Never made one phone call. Do not waste your time or money.
I gave it a try a few month ago and bought 5$ of credit. The calls quality was never good so I went back to other apps like Skype or Google Voice. I just downloaded the latest version of iCall and wanted to give it another try, but I see that they disconnected my account and my 5$ disappeared... Just a waste, dont go through the trouble -> dont use the app
Does not function on new ipod touch 5. Took $4.99 and does nothing. Email from icall with offer cannot link to server.
Took my money then said it was in support only mode and would do nothing
Like many on here, I purchased one month of unlimited calling over wifi for $14.99. As soon as I purchased the credits, my account said it was expired and then offered to let me purchase the exact same plan. No customer support as well. There are far better apps out there, do not fall for this scam.
The worst thing ever. I knew it was a scam right when they asked me for a credit card. Use Skype and make calls like this for $3.00 a month. 12x3=36. So $36 a year. Not bad at all if you ask me. But this... Fail. All to say is fail.
